IT'S ABOUT TO GET REAL

The Live Salon Experience is a real working salon environment, run in the same way a small college salon operates.

Students will attend each session as if they are going to work, gaining real-time, hands-on experience within a professional salon setting. The programme is designed to build confidence, responsibility, and independence, while supporting continued practical skill development.

Clients will be invited into the salon at a very small cost. This encourages accountability, professionalism, and commitment, while helping to cover product usage and reinforce real-world salon practices.

Professional Standards & Development

As part of the Live Salon Experience, students will be provided with a professional uniform matching our Ivy Reign salon staff. This plays a key role in helping students step into a professional mindset and develop pride, responsibility, and confidence in their role.

Alongside practical hair and beauty development, we place strong emphasis on:

• Customer service and communication

• Professional conduct and salon etiquette

• Confidence when working with clients

• Timekeeping, responsibility, and accountability

This ensures students are not only developing technical skills, but are also becoming workplace-ready.

Who is this programme for?

The Live Salon Experience is currently open to our long-standing Ivy Reign Academy members - our original students who are ready to take the next step in their journey.

Over time, students who successfully complete Intermediate Enrichment will naturally progress into the Live Salon Experience, creating a clear and supportive pathway through the Academy.

These first students will always be our OGs, helping to shape the culture, standards, and future of the programme.
