Ivy Reign Afterschool Club — Where It All Began

 

The Ivy Reign Afterschool Club was the very first youth programme we launched — and it quickly became the heartbeat of everything we believe in at Ivy Reign Academy.

When we opened our doors on 2nd September 2025, we welcomed seven young girls each week for hands-on, confidence-building sessions full of creativity, fun, and self-discovery. Over six weeks, they explored hair and beauty techniques including makeup, nail art, hair washing, styling, plaiting, and updos — all while developing teamwork, communication, and a strong sense of personal pride.

What started as a small, salon-run community project quickly evolved into something much deeper. We watched shy students grow into bright, bold young women with newfound confidence and real ambition. The transformation we witnessed inspired us to expand our educational work and create more structured opportunities for young people who thrive in practical, empowering environments.

We ended the first programme with a very special Ivy Reign Graduation Night on 14th September — where our students received certificates in front of their proud families and the Ivy Reign team. The sense of celebration, connection, and growth was unforgettable.

Many of those original students are now continuing their journey with us through our new Intermediate Enrichment Course — a 10-week, 3-hour programme designed to take their confidence, creativity, and skills to the next level.
